I am Mary, and I am a totally smitten PMC addict living in Leeds, West Yorkshire.  I don't have a shop (can't afford it) - most of my sales and course advertising are done through the internet or via carefully selected craft fairs, mostly in the Yorkshire region.

My Precious Metal Clay Classes take place in my own house in a leafy Leeds suburb; I have achieved Levels 1 and 2 Certification from The PMC Studio.  Classes are small - a private house cannot fit too many in - but this is definitely a 'plus' as the atmosphere is always informal and friendly.  Classes cover all aspects of PMC, and I love to see that wonderful 'eureka' moment when absolute beginners start to brush up their first piece of fired clay, and discover, yes, it really really IS silver....!

My work is for sale in some of the Yorkshire Galleries and shops, and you can often find me behind my stall at local craft fairs.  I really enjoy going out to meet the people who like to buy my silver pieces and see if I can spark their own interest and creativity by coming to learn for themselves how to create their own individual wearable art. 

Below are photos of a couple of my classes, taken in my workroom and back garden (too bad the pond is hidden, it can be quite pretty..!)  As you can see, 5 is the absolute maximum I can take at one time -  but I believe it makes for a really relaxed atmosphere where everyone can have fun while they learn a new skill.  By the way, that's me at the back of the photo on the top right - hiding away behind my students!
